Description
The Sunwapta Valley is a beautiful area in Jasper National Park to explore with the many trails , waterfalls and glaciers. The most famous landmarks are the Athabasca Mountain (with the lesser known Sunwapta Glacier), Athabasca Glacier, Sunwapta Waterfall and Tangle Falls (and many more). All very accessible and viewable when driving the picturesque Icefields Parkway. Hiking up the Wilcox Pass Trail provides a wide open view of the valley and glaciers where this image was captured from.
